Hello! I’m Anne Leitvik, a 19-year-old girl from the beautiful land of Norway. As I stand on the cusp of an exciting chapter, I am thrilled to share a bit about myself. This year, I am embarking on a journey into the world of photography, studying at a folk high school. Photography, for me, is not just about capturing images; it’s about freezing moments in time and expressing the unsaid and the unseen.

Living in Bærum, a serene suburb of Oslo, I’ve always been surrounded by nature’s splendor. This has naturally nurtured my love for the outdoors. Skiing is second nature to me, as it is for many of us Norwegians. Gliding through the snow-covered landscapes is an exhilarating experience that I cherish deeply. It’s not just a sport; it’s a part of who we are, a dance with nature that keeps us connected to our roots.

Staying active and in shape is important to me. Whether it’s skiing, hiking in the majestic Norwegian mountains, or simply enjoying a jog in the crisp, fresh air, I believe in the harmony of mind and body. These activities are not just for physical well-being, but they also provide a source of inspiration and creativity for my photography.

When I’m not out exploring with my camera or enjoying the great outdoors, you can find me lost in the pages of a book. Reading opens up new worlds, fuels my imagination, and sometimes even influences my photographic style. Traveling is another passion of mine. I dream of capturing the diverse beauty of this world through my lens, from the fjords of Norway to the bustling streets of distant cities.

As for my future, I aspire to turn my passion for photography into a career. I dream of telling stories through my photographs, capturing the essence of moments, and sharing them with the world.
